And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
Revelation 18:4 KJV

The book of Revelation is for many people a very scary piece of literature.
This apocalyptic message it became something that the Author of this letter never intended.

Yes, you`ve read correctly: Letter!

This is God`s last message to humanity, given to His Son, Jesus Christ, and Jesus gave it to John to send it to the “seven churches”.

The word “church” today is to refer mainly to the building, but it wasn`t like this from the beginning.
Church used to mean the “Assembly“, not the building. This Assembly in the first century, in the primary church, amongst the first believers was called “Ekklesia” with the meaning of: “the called out-ones“.

Come out of her, my people, is God`s calling from the beginning for the true worshipers to leave the apostate church/organization, and to come together as the true “body of Christ”.

Chapter 18th of the book of Revelation is the continuation of chapter 17th, where the woman(/church) called Babylon, Mystery, The Mother of Harlots, is seating on the Beast with seven heads and ten horns.

In Chapter 13 of Revelation we see this BEAST being the Civil and Political Superpower of the world in the End Time, and a representation of the False god.
The Woman/Church on top of the Beast represents an image of fornication, taken from the old Testament.
We see this in the book of Isaiah chapter 54 verse 5, where the Lord speaks to the “church” as with a wife:

“For your Maker is your HUSBAND, the Lord of hosts is his name; and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth he is called.”

Jeremiah in Chapter 3 portrays the same idea from a different perspective, when God says to the “church” that she ” played THE WHORE with many lovers”.

There are also many other passages in the Bible where you see the same picture.

In Revelation 18:4, the warning is given to God`s people, to come out of “Her” before the plagues are about to fall over “Her” as a punishment for her unfaithfulness to Her Husband.

Now the question is: WHO IS SHE?

From the same book of Revelation we see that the church is addressed by Jesus seven times in the second and third chapter.
No matter the theological perspective you are embracing, the church is the body of Christ on earth (spiritually speaking), and He have one body, only.

Revelation 12:1-6 gives the reference of who is this Woman. She gave birth to the Messiah, so it must be a pure church.
Verse 6 reveal the fact that this pure Woman “fled into the wilderness” a place that God prepared for her and she was fed there for 1260 days. So the church was preserved for 1260 years by God.
In verses 13&14 we see why and how she was “flying” into this “wilderness”. Because Satan persecuted the followers of Christ, they had no choice but to leave that “Great city”, Babylon.
In that “wilderness” they’ve been fed from Word of God, the Bread of Life, like Elijah in the wilderness, by an angel. (1 Kings 19:5-9)
Unfortunately at the very end of the chapter we see a really sad detail:
Though the Dragon is angry with the Woman, he doesn’t make war with her, but with the remnant of her SEED.(a few real followers of Christ who keep the commandments of God and have the faith of Jesus)

Satan wants to set up his kingdom on this earth, and he wants dominion over the people. For this to happen, the humans must have the same mindset and the same spirit with the Dragon, a.k.a
Satan.

The greatest commandments of all are “love God with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself“. This is the base line of God`s kingdom. It`s based of selflessness, in total opposition with Satan`s kingdom, which is based on selfishness.

From the garden of Eden, after the fall of Adam and Eve, we see this spirit of self-preservation in the first actions, of our first parents. They tried to cover their nakedness by their own works, sewing fig leaves together.
But God showed the real way to cover that nakedness…

– Someone had to die and with the price of a life, they could be covered. –
(a lamb had to be sacrificed)

That’s what the death of the Lamb in the Sanctuary service represented.
When God asked Abraham to sacrifice his own son, on the way to the mountain the boy asked:
– Where is the lamb? –
He figured out that they had wood, knife and fire…but where is the Lamb?
When Abraham replayed:
God will provide Himself a Lamb!”, he revealed God`s divine nature, which is love, at the very core.
God chose to suffer for the good of His “neighbor”.

When God banished the first couple from the garden, He could do that because He already chose to gave His Son as a sacrifice for humanity.
And when He revealed the curse over the earth, beast and humanity, He just unveiled the reality outside of God`s nature.

But One SEED was about to come from the “WOMAN” and to crush the head of the Snake, and though He will come from the woman, He will not have the selfish spiritual nature of the Dragon.
HE will crush the head of the Snake, but the Snake will bite His heel. Because of His divine spiritual nature He will be crushing the selfish desire (that’s coming) from the beast, in His own life.

This was something that the Dragon was not willing to accept, so he crushed every single scull of humans under his feet/death, until the SEED came and crushed the head of the Snake on “Golgota” which translated means “the mountain of the Scull”.

The power of the Dragon was broken at the cross, Christ being the first one to conquer the power that Satan has in the life of the humans born from Adam.
Thats why Jesus, the second Adam could give us His spiritual nature through the “new birth” and in this way we will have the power to overcome Satan`s desires/temptations, and Christ can “crush Satan under our feet”.(Rom 16:20)

From the first century a protest against Satan`s kingdom started. The world around us with all the pain and struggle that we see and experience every day, it`s a result of his kingdom, and this is a spiritual kingdom.
The outside symptoms called sin, are just an external manifestation of the internal problem of the kingdom based on selfishness that we are born within ourselves from the first Adam.

But we, the believers are called out of this kingdom, and in the moment we do that, we declare war to the Dragon and to the carnal man. This is a protest of the highest rank. As long as you do that, you`ll be at enmity with Satan, but when you listen to you internal carnal man, you`re at enmity to God.
His Son lived a life of total self-denial and in this kind of spirit He “pleased God”.
That`s why God sends the spirit of His Son in our hearts crying “Abba Father”(Gal. 4:6), because naturally our hearts cry “Satan father”. That`s why Jesus could say to the Pharisee: “you`re of your father, the devil.”(John 8:44)
(they we’re listening to the carnal desires, the spiritual nature of Satan).

God`s church is formed from the ones that follow His Son not only in the letter but also in the spirit:

“But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.” John 4:23

The reason why the Dragon did not make war with the “woman” in the end of Chapter 12 of Revelation, is because something changed in the nature of the professed followers of Christ. Only a few continued the internal “protest” in their lives against the “flesh” and the Dragon was at war with them.

So, “come out of Her my people”, doesn`t refers only to come out of the wrong church, with the wrong doctrines, but also, come out from the wrong spirit with the wrong desires.
There is only One Way for this to happen in our lives, and He is still knocking at the doors of our hearts.

Every minute of every hour of every day, He is still trying to reach us, though the time is almost up, the time of probation is about to finish, and you`ll be either “marked” either “sealed”.

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Rev. 3:20

Allow to the Son of God to live in you.🙏
